All GU students, faculty, and staff participating in University-related international travel should register with International SOS, Georgetown's Global Assistance Program, and STEP, the State Department Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. GU travelers are also required to have health insurance with international coverage.
Registering with MyTrips, the GU International SOS portal, provides emergency evacuation and other resources to GU international travelers.
The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) allows U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
